The results are good. The TPO antibodies results are still high, but much lower in comparison to the last test (last test indicated a result of 2024). Why? Can you please explain this for me?

Her hair is now healthy and she has gained weight.

She is now taking 10mg x 2 of Carbimazol. She is at the end of the 10th TT treatment. She started taking TT assistant at the begining of December, and last month she increased the dosage from 2 cups to 4 cups, and she takes it regularly.

What is your advice?

Good! We are very glad to see the changes in her antibodies.
TG antibodies (Quantitative) 127.792 IU/ml => 52.8 IU/ML Normal range 0 - 80
TPO antibodies 2025.475 IU/ml => 175 IU/ML Normal range >150 IU/mL

It is very good result! Did the Doctor surprise with the decreasing in antibodies? Please tell Doctor that your daughter is taking TT. We hope more patients with the same condition like your daughter also will be help. (High antibodies mean patient’s thyroid gland will be mistaken as alien and be attacked by antibodies.)

Also, we are very glad to see weight increasing in your daughter. Gaining weight means her thyroid hormone trend to normal. It is a very good signal to measure the improvement of hyperthyroidism.
