ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS
 

1.Cooling the liver and calming the wind

In treating up-stirring of the liver wind due to hyperactivity of heat in febrile diseases and manifested by contracture of the limbs or even opisthotonus, the drug can be used in combination with Ramulis Uncariae cum Uncis, Flos Chrysanthemi, Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergii, Scorpio, Scolopendra, etc.

2.clearing away heat in the liver and improving vision

In treating headache and conjunctival congestion due to hyperactivity of the Gentianae, Fructus Gardeniae, Radix Scutellariae, etc.

Besides, the drug also has the effect of removing blood stasis and toxin, and can be used to treat skin eruption with retarded appearance of eruption due to invasion of toxic heat into the interior. The drug is ground with water to take the liquid for oral administration.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
