	ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS
	1.Reducing lung-heat to soothe throat Removing heat-toxics to eliminate swelling: To treat sore throat, cough and dysphonia, due to flare-up of lung-fire, it can be used with Radix Scrophulariae, Radix Platycodi, Radix Isatidis, Radix Glycyrrhizae,etc. 2.Astringing wounds and arresting bleeding To treat wound with bleeding or cold injury, the pollen of the fruiting bodies can be used to apply on the wound; to treat spitting blood or epistaxis, it can be used with other drug for reducing intense heat and arresting hemorrage.
	ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
	1.5-6g of the drug are taken and wrapped in gauze in making decoction; a proper amount of the drug is needed for local administration.
	REMARKS
	The drug is also applied externally to bleeding wounds to promote coagulation.
