1.Dispersing
evils from the superficies
It is indicated in cold marked by chilliness, headache, fever,
etc. For treating cold due to wind-cold, it is often combined
with Bulbs Allii Fistulosi;for treating cold due to wind-heat,
with Herba Menthae, Fructus Forsythiae,etc.
2.Relieving restlessness
For treating febrile disease at the later stage or before its
convalescent stage with fever and stuffiness in the chest with
restlessness, it may be combined with Fructus Gardeniae, and
stewed together to make decoction. |
