Chinese Long-Life Congee
This is long life congee is from Prof. Zhu Liang Chun
1. Usage:
Eat one bowl (~300ml) as breakfast every morning.
2. Material: (The amount of 5 days)
Membranous Milkvetch Root (Mongolian Milkcetch Root) 250g,
Coix Seed (Yiyiren) 50g,
Lentils 50g,
Lotus seed 50g,
Green beans 50g,
Jujube 30g,
Gou Qi 10g.
3. Procedures:
a. Membranous Milkvetch Root (Mongolian Milkcetch Root) soak for 20 minutes and boil for 15 minutes with 3 bowls of water.
b. Add Coix Seed (Yiyiren), Lentils, Lotus seeds, Green beans, Jujube and cook it for 40 minutes.
c. Then, add Gou Qi cook for 10 minutes more.
